Tucked next to a beautiful park in Bellevue, WA is the Robinswood House. A historic homestead that has retained it’s original charm from the 1800’s. The gardens around the main house are a telling reason why couples choose this venue for their outdoor wedding. The front invites guests to follow the paths with beautiful flowering bushes and trees to lead you behind the building to a back patio and a hidden gem. The ceremony backdrop is right out of an English garden fairytale and makes you feel close to nature. The large tree makes the perfect addition to where you will say “I do”.

A crazy thing we do when helping our couples figure out their design for their florals, is if it doesn’t need a lot, let’s not do it! Alex & Trevor wanted a little pop of flowers that add to the space, not compete with it. What a better way than adding ground florals at the altar to add to the already gorgeous garden. The mix of soft pastels brought in that touch of Spring the ceremony needed.

I know we always say we have the best couples, but we really do. Fun, loving and laid back. This couple found us from a past couple and that just makes it even better!

The guys blew off the wedding jitters by taking advantage of the park. While Alex and their squad enjoyed being together, sipping champagne and getting glammed up in the house. The vibe was no stress and only enjoy every moment of the day.

Their wedding party in classic black really made the soft tones of the flowers stand out. Alex wore the most beautiful gown and the coolest faux fur coat on this chilly Spring day.

Everyone was ready to celebrate the happy couple with drinks, food and dancing. The tables under the tent had a sweet and simple design of bud vases with in-season flowers. Making an impact with your centerpieces doesn’t always mean more or bigger. Bringing in the right type of flower in the perfect color will make your guests want to take the flowers home at the end of the night. You can’t go wrong with local peonies, ranunculus and delphiniums!
