ELOPEMENTS IN THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST

What is an elopement? The couple, officiant and photographer and a location to say “I do”, that is pretty much it. Traditionally in a court house, but really not limited to that anymore. Lakeside, beach, mountains, where ever you as a couple want to go. We love sending couples off to say their vows with personal flowers. Having a bouquet for photos or a boutonniere for your suit really adds to the day.

2020 really pushed elopements to the front of the wedding line. Simple, hardly any people, easy to social distance outside at your elopement spot of choice. Perfection! And our favorite part, the most epic pictures in so many different places that the Pacific Northwest has to offer.

Many of our elopement couples are coming from another state. This makes it so much more special to us as we love to boast about how gorgeous the Washington coast and beaches are, or the mountains being just a quick drive away from the city. There are so many rooftops and parks in the surrounding cities that serve as a beautiful backdrop for your vows if going on an adventure isn’t what you had in mind.

Keeping the process of designing your elopement flowers simple is a must to keep the cost down a bit. We created an elopement package that you can choose your color and style from and we do the rest. Focusing on in-season, American grown flowers and greenery let’s us be creative and make each flower element unique to you. And the easy part, we do this all over email!

Our Elopement process

  • Fill out our contact form. There is a drop down menu of what can we do for you. Click Elopement Flowers.

  • We will send over a questionnaire that gives color options and design style, along with a few other questions. Choose your favorite! We do add in special requests when possible, like other colors or a type of in-season flower.

  • We then send over a proposal and contract.

  • You sign the contract and pay! Boom, that easy and you are in! We figure out the details of pick up or drop off as we go along.

All floral items are designed with the colors and styles you chose from our selection.  Bouquets will be wrapped with silk or velvet ribbon in coordination with your colors. Boutonnieres will be designed with a magnetic back and ribbon to match. If you decide to get a floral clip, hair clips are made on an alligator style clip. Flower crowns are created as a half crown tied together in the back with ribbon. They will be made with coordinating blooms and greenery to other personal flowers.

Adding personal flowers to your elopement is a beautiful detail that you will not regret. It brings your style to the court house or waters edge. In the last few years we have seen momentum of elopements and we are here for it! We really hope they stay popular and we continue to design personal flowers for each couple that comes to the Pacific Northwest to elope!
