One of my very favorite things besides seeing the couple's vision come to life is seeing past couples in the wedding party and as guests! I have been so lucky to get referrals from groups of friends. Lisa & Kenny I think had the most of my past couples to date! A bridesmaid, a groomsmen (that aren't married to each other) and a couple that were guests! It was so fun to see everyone and it really made me feel so good that after all these years, they still tell their friends about me!!!
I love the color palette Lisa wanted. The Fremont Foundry is one of my favorite venues and the jewel tones work so well with the different wood, metals and cement all over the venue. We planned for an outdoor ceremony on the roof top. Simple set up with an arch and greenery garland on the row of chairs. It ended up being a rainy Seattle day, but adding the clear tent, it didn't even matter. The natural light still let you feel like you were outside. We went with two different styles of centerpieces. One having candles only which made it so romantic once the sun went down. The other tables had full floral centerpieces. Full, natural and busting those amazing burgundys with bold orange and yellow. I love how everything turned out.
