A Bold Spring Wedding in Seattle

I love it when I walk into a venue and it inspires me, I can start getting a vision for the flowers right away. This was one of those times. Walking into the church I saw floral with that amazing window. I got even more excited when Diana said that is where they want to stand at the ceremony. This is a huge church. But there is a small chapel that is the original chapel from years ago and they moved it over to the new addition. The wood ceiling just takes your breath away and that wood cutout of the tall window is just gorgeous. We didn’t want to take anything away from the beauty of this window, so we decided on a large floral piece for one corner of the ledge. Their colors were a mix of blush, light peach with deep burgundy and a splash of fuchsia. Greenery flowed down and draped over the dark wood ledge. We moved this piece over to the piano at the reception, it fit perfectly in both spots!

Diana’s dress was so beautiful. It had an off white, almost a blush undertone. The cut reminded me of a Greek goddess…so gorgeous!!! Her bouquet was full of lush, ruffle blooms and texture. The juiciest ranunculus and fluffy peonies were the show stoppers. We also snuck in a few air plants for texture.

I was so excited that Diana went with a bold patterned linen for their tables. When she was describing her vision to BreeAnn of Pink Blossom Events, this was the first thing that popped in her head. It was perfect with the dark, moody burgundy flower arrangements for the centerpieces.

The couple and their guests ended this amazing day with karaoke, dancing and cake!!! So happy to be a part of this sweet couples day!!!
