When you decide to join a wedding show or tour, you want to make sure you do something to stand out...make a statement. I am pretty sure we nailed that one with our theme for the Weddings in Woodinville Tour. Our "Gothic Geek" party at the Redhook Brewery was awesome! Greenery & candles greeted you in the entrance outside(thanks to the crazy wind they wouldn't stay lit...but still looked cool!!!) As you walked up the stairs you immediately know a party is going on. The beats put on by Magnolia Rhapsody were the perfect party jams and made you feel like you were coming into a fun reception. The dark and moody Gothic room was your first stop. The long King's table was full of candelabras, brass goblets and bud vases from Vintage Ambiance. Tall candles sat under large floral arrangements full of textured greenery and deep red blooms. Skulls were hidden among the candles and flowers along with apothecary bottles and Lego table numbers. Pedersens Event Rentals supplied us with the perfect linens and place settings. The round tables brought a little Geek to the decor with board games as the centerpieces. Redhook Brewery made the best tacos that was set up as a build your own, along with their brew on tap. So good! Hanging Edison Bulbs from The Sound Factory was a show stopper in the ceremony area. Loved them against a black backdrop! Pacific Brides had a gorgeous model that she would right there, demonstrate adding greenery or flowers to the model's hair, it was so cool to see all the different designs she came up with. One of the coolest vendors is Hapertas and Company was set up in this room. They design and make men's accessories like ties, pocket squares and scarves. Such a great idea! Walking over to the Geek side of the brewery was a whole different vibe. We still had music and you still felt like you were coming into a party...but this time it was a gaming party. Grab a drink from the bar and a cookie or ice cream from Street Treats to take over to the lounge area to grab a controller to play game. Hang out chatting while building Legos at the Lego stations around the room. Play a classic arcade game over the brew room, that were provided by National Event Pros and enjoy feeling like a kid again. I am a sucker for a photobooth, and The Snapbar never disappoints. They had a Harry Potter background!!!
It was such a fun day and everything came together and looked amazing! I am so happy that we had all these ridiculously talented vendors at this stop on the tour. This may not have been your style or what you picture for your wedding reception, but it could be for a party, or corporate event. The best compliment Bec with Blush Celebrations(the mastermind behind the theme) received on more than one occasion that day....This isn't my style, but man you guys did it right and it looks amazing! Nailed it!!!
