When you think of a destination wedding in Seattle you probably think of the city. But what about Snoqualmie Falls? It's a unique and gorgeous place to bring your guests. The rooms are so relaxing for your out of town friends and family, you are surrounded by trees and everything that screams NW and that view...you can't beat that view!
Joakim is from Sweden but he grew up in New York and later his parents moved to Kirkland. Jackie is from South Korea and her mom still lives there. They travel here often and they both love the PNW scenery and wanted to give that to their family and friends when they decided on their wedding location and theme. They are such a fun couple. I had never met them before their big day, they live in California. When I went to pin the boutonnieres on the guys Joakim had me thinking the groom was one of the other guys...it was pretty funny! They rock, paper, scissored who was going to say their vows first! From these amazing pictures you can just feel their happiness. I loved how the ceremony turned out. We went with round seating at the ceremony with them in the middle. Simple altar arrangements to add some interest, but not too blocking of their guests view. At the entrance of each aisle we hung simple vases with their colors of white, blush and greenery. I loved those bridesmaids dresses! And simple baby's breath bouquets with greenery really made them stand out. Jackie & Joakim walked through a rose petal infinity symbol as they exited. The reception was my favorite. She wanted simple but elegant. Simple white hydrangeas with floating candles for the centerpieces. Splashes of gold and fern sprigs on the place settings were fantastic touches. This was such a beautiful day from the weather, to the ceremony out on the green lawn to the elegant reception. What an amazing team of vendors to help bring this all together and celebrate this fun loving couple!!!
