Erin & Nate moved here after Nate was stationed near Tacoma. They were going to have their wedding back in Missouri but decided on an intimate gathering of their friends and family in this beautiful city they both now love. Erin wanted to keep things simple to go with their family style dinner, but also elegant. I love 1927 Events...the brick wall was a perfect back drop for the copper arch with nothing but greenery on it. The aisle was lined with large lanterns that then went on the centerpieces that had different sizes of candles and bud vases. The long family style tables had greenery garlands of Erin's favorite, eucalyptus. It was such a fun celebration and you could just feel the love from their family and guests. Erin & Nate decided not to do a lot of the traditional things at their reception. Instead of a bouquet toss, they did a special dance for couples married the longest. They knew it was going to be her Aunt and Uncle, who are very special to Erin. Erin gave her aunt her bouquet and everyone congratulated them on their 42 years of marriage. Her mom told her later that she was so excited to receive the bouquet and even carried it on the plane home! That is what this day was all about for them, their guests and their time together. What a great night!!!
