Here in the Pacific Northwest, there are so many gorgeous and amazing venues for weddings. So to pick a favorite is really tough...But I have to say that Kiana Lodge is probably my favorite. You have the water, the woods and can take a ferry to get to it. The grounds are amazing and the lodge itself is great for gatherings. I love weddings that have all the personal and special touches that involve their story or family. Julia wore her Grandmother's wedding dress. It's so gorgeous, she had to clean it by hand to make sure it stayed in tact! Christopher wore his Grandfather's wedding band. They had the amazing photography team, Photos by Kintz come from Baltimore to shoot their wedding. This meant they got an extra day of adventuring after their wedding day to go around the area and captured some beautiful shots. With the sun out on this January day, you would never know it was the middle of Winter! So many of these pictures didn't have the flowers in them, but were just too gorgeous to not share! I was really excited to use ferns in their design...so many ferns!!! I have become obsessed with them lately for some reason! They decided to use them in their ceremony down the aisle which went great with the hanging ferns the venue already has. They then were moved to the centerpieces. We went with simple bouquets of baby's breath and full greenery for the bridesmaids bouquets that really popped against their flowing green dresses. Julia wanted all white hydrangeas and greenery throughout the bouquet, which made it full and added some great texture. This was such a simple design but with a great vendors and fabulous couple, it is one of my favorites!!!
