Shannon + Casey-August 12, 2017

Weddings at a private residence always have such a different vibe to them.  There is different stress that goes into setting up, but it always feels like the families are just ready to have a great time.  I don't think I have ever felt so much help from the couple's family and friends as I did with Shannon & Casey's.  It was a gorgeous summer day and even if it wasn't, that view would have made up for it.  This house on Camano Island was the groom's family home and it was gorgeous.  Right on the water, lush green grass with a huge tent set up so their guests could sit together and enjoy their surroundings.  Everyone was working on something.  Family members arranging the centerpieces, getting the bar set up, and groomsmen putting the chairs out.  It was fun to see so much love and attention go into something for a great couple and be set up so smoothly with a great coordinator like Katy at Seattle Stunning Events.  Shannon had asked me to design the bouquets for her bridesmaids and junior bridesmaids as well as her bouquet.  I also designed the flowers for an arch that Casey had made.  This is one of my favorite arches this season.  One side, full, lush and flowing in the wind.  With the water as a gorgeous backdrop it just all looked so amazing!  Such a beautiful day for this couple to share with their friends and family and to have it in such a special place to them.
